Comparison

How Infoleen compares.

An honest side-by-side against the platforms schools actually shortlist, from India's big administrative ERPs to the Gulf's LMS-led suites. Where a vendor doesn't publish something, we say so rather than assume the worst — and we've linked our sources at the bottom.

Disclosure: this comparison is written by Infoleen, the vendor of one of the products in it, and we rank ourselves well. Read how we compiled it and how to report an error →

First: these products aren't all the same thing.

Half of a school software shortlist is usually a category error. Before comparing features, it helps to see what each product is actually built to be.

PlatformWhat it fundamentally isPrimary marketWhat it leaves you to solve elsewhere
Infoleen Full school operating system — ERP + LMS + assessment + operations in one database India, and international schools worldwide Accounting ledger export to your finance package
ClasseraLMS-led learning & engagement suite with school-management modulesSaudi Arabia / MENA, expanding globallyPricing is quote-only; scope depends on the modules contracted
EducaseAdministrative school ERP — fees, HR/payroll, hostel, CCTV, transportIndiaDeep teaching & assessment workflow; question banking
SchoolitesAdministrative school ERP with strong Indian statutory complianceIndiaLMS depth, question bank, AI authoring
ClassDojoClassroom-behaviour & parent-communication appGlobal, primary/elementaryEssentially all school administration: fees, exams, timetable, report cards
Save My ExamsConsumer revision-content subscription (notes, past papers)UK curricula (GCSE/IGCSE/A Level/IB), sold to studentsEverything operational — it is content, not a school system
SkoleraLMS / school-management system for Arabic-speaking marketsSaudi Arabia, Egypt, MENAPricing and module scope are quote-led
MadrasatiSaudi Ministry of Education national learning platformSaudi government schoolsPrivate-school operations: fees, HR, canteen, inventory, custom branding

This matters commercially: schools regularly compare an ERP's price against ClassDojo's free tier, or expect Save My Exams to replace an assessment system. They solve different problems. Infoleen is in the first row's category — and the comparison below is scored on that basis.

Where we're behind, we've said so. Fee collection, HR/payroll and UDISE+ export are on our roadmap, not in the product today. If fee management is your single biggest pain, a mature Indian ERP like Schoolites or Educase will serve that one need sooner than we will — and we'd rather you knew that before the demo than after the contract. Infoleen wins when you want teaching, assessment, operations and multilingual delivery unified; it does not yet win as a pure finance-first ERP.

Head to head

Infoleen vs Classera, in detail

Classera is the strongest comparison in this list and the one we meet most often in Saudi Arabia. It's a capable, established LMS-led platform. Here's where we genuinely differ — including where they're ahead.

DimensionInfoleenClasseraWhy it matters to you
Pricing transparency Published per-student rates and a public cost calculator. You can budget before you ever speak to us. Pricing is not publicly listed; directories show "contact us for pricing". You can't run a board-approved budget on a figure you have to negotiate for first.
What's included One price, all modules. Only AI Studio and transport sit on the higher tier. Suite is module-based; final scope and cost depend on what's contracted. Module-based pricing is where school budgets quietly double in year two.
Product centre of gravity Operations and learning in one record — canteen, library, warehouse, lost & found, safeguarding alongside the LMS. Learning-first: strong LMS, engagement and gamification; school-management breadth varies by module. Determines how many other vendors you still need.
Multi-role identity One account can be teacher and guardian and exam officer, switchable in a dropdown. Not published. Staff whose children study at the school are extremely common — and usually get two logins.
Arabic through to PDF RTL is a first-class layout mode and Arabic renders correctly in generated report cards and certificates. Arabic and multi-language interface supported; PDF-level Arabic behaviour not published. Arabic that breaks at the print step is the most common failure we're asked to fix.
Question-bank ownership The bank is your school's asset, curriculum-tagged, and it compounds every year. AI drafts from it. Question banking is supported within the platform. Ask any vendor what happens to your authored content if you leave.
Certificate verification Public QR verification link on every certificate. Certificates supported; public verification endpoint not published. Removes a recurring front-office workload for alumni and transfers.
Deployment scale Newer platform. Smaller install base. We compete on fit and price, not on logo count. Ahead here — established regional presence and a long track record across MENA. If procurement scores heavily on years-in-market, Classera scores better than us. Stated plainly.
Ministry / national integrations Available as engagement work; not shipped as standard connectors today. Ahead here — long-standing presence in the Saudi ecosystem. If mandatory Noor/Madrasati interoperability is a hard requirement, raise it with us on day one.

By market

India

The Indian market is dense with capable, low-cost administrative ERPs. Our argument here is not that we're cheaper than the cheapest — it's that an ERP alone leaves the teaching half of your school unserved.

ConsiderationInfoleenTypical Indian school ERP
Entry costFirst month free, then ₹15 per student per month, every module except AI Studio and transport includedCommonly ₹10–₹25 per student per month, usually before the modules you actually want are added; some enterprise products quote lakhs per quarter
StrengthTeaching, assessment, question bank, AI authoring, operations, transportFees, admissions, HR/payroll, hostel, statutory reporting
WeaknessFee collection and payroll are on the roadmapThin LMS; little to no question banking or authoring
MultilingualEnglish, Arabic, French with true RTLOften strong on Indian regional languages, rarely on Arabic/RTL
Best fitCBSE/ICSE/IB/Cambridge schools that take assessment seriously, and groups running multiple campusesSchools whose most acute pain is fee collection and statutory compliance

Saudi Arabia & the Gulf

Government schools are served by the Ministry's national platform. Private and international schools need something the Ministry platform isn't designed to be.

The short version

Choose Infoleen if…

  • You want one system instead of an ERP plus an LMS plus a quiz tool plus a parent app
  • You teach in Arabic, English or French — and need report cards that print correctly in all three
  • You run more than one campus, or staff who are also parents
  • You want your question bank to be an asset your school owns and compounds
  • You want QuizNova — live quizzes a class joins with a six-digit code, drawn from that same bank, or run as a team game on one smart screen when nobody has a device — instead of paying a separate quiz tool for questions you already own
  • You want published pricing you can budget against before a sales call
  • You care that access rules are enforced server-side, not by hiding menu items

Choose something else if…

  • Fee collection and payroll are your number-one problem today — that's Schoolites or Educase territory right now
  • You need hostel management as a hard requirement — transport we do, hostel we don't
  • You need UDISE+ one-click export this academic year
  • You only need parent messaging for a primary school — ClassDojo does that well and free
  • You want revision content for students to buy — that's Save My Exams, and it complements rather than competes with us
  • Procurement scores heavily on years in market and installed base

Disclosure, sources & method

Conflict of interest. This comparison is published by Infoleen, the vendor of one of the products listed — and we rank ourselves favourably in it. That is a conflict of interest, and you should read this page with it firmly in mind. We state it here, and at the top of the page, because a comparison that hides who wrote it isn't worth the time it takes to read.

How we try to earn the benefit of the doubt

Method

Competitor information is compiled from publicly available vendor product pages, published pricing, app-store listings and software directories, reviewed in July 2026, together with what schools tell us during migration conversations. Software changes quickly and vendors revise their pricing and packaging without notice — treat anything here as a starting point for your own diligence, not as a substitute for it. Always confirm scope and price in writing with the vendor themselves before you sign.

Trademarks

All product names, logos and brands are the property of their respective owners. They are used on this page for honest comparative reference only, as permitted under § 30 of the Indian Trade Marks Act, 1999, and imply no affiliation, sponsorship or endorsement by those owners.
